GIS digital data is available for download. These are just a few of the data layers that drive the city's GIS program. It is the responsibility of the GIS Coordinator to update these files to ensure that the data is current. All geographic data uses a NAD83 California Zone 3 projection and is in ESRI shapefile formate (*shp). If you find discrepancies with the data or have any questions please feel free to E-mail your concerns to gis@hayward-ca.gov
This data format assumes some knowledge of GIS applications. It also requires the use of software that can read the ESRI shapefile format. A basic reader can be downloaded below.
