| Preliminary Elevation for Foothill Boulevard Façade Improvements |
A New Look for Foothill Boulevard!
As part of the City’s Retail Attraction Program, the Hayward Redevelopment Agency has been working with building owners on two blocks of Foothill Boulevard to renovate their building façades. The two blocks are located on Foothill Boulevard. Block I is on the west-side of Foothill Boulevard from Maple Court to A Street, and Block II is located on the east-side of Foothill Boulevard from A Street to B Street. The first step in this process is to develop proposed façade improvement designs, and determine the cost of implementing the design. The drawings presented are preliminary designs by the Redevelopment Agency’s, architect SZFM Design Studio. The elevations were presented to the Council Downtown Committee (CDC) on June 28, 2010.
